Amanda is a born and raised Okie who resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Ted, and their three children (Emily, Abby, and Jack). Ted is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Hospital, and their children attend Moore Public Schools. Amanda received her Master’s degree in English from the University of Oklahoma, where she also taught English Composition for five years. She currently teaches junior and senior English at Crooked Oak High School in Oklahoma City. Amanda was a volunteer for the 2016 Bernie Sanders campaign, and currently serves as the Cleveland County Democratic Party Chair of Precinct 40 in House District 91.
