Linda Wade is a 2018 Democratic Party Candidate for Senate District 42. She has been endorsed by Our Revolution Oklahoma.

Linda comes from a long line of caring, service minded people.
Her great, great grandfather, Alfred Wade, was the 1st Choctaw Governor in Oklahoma. Her grandfather, Delos Wade was a Choctaw Council member and served as the Sheriff for Talihina as for decades. Her father, Col. Malcolm “Jr” Wade, was a Choctaw council man for his district and was elected as mayor of Talihina after retiring from the Tinker AFB in the 90’s. Her brother, Malcolm Wade, was a dedicated teacher and wrestling coach for Carl Albert High School. Her extended family has always stood for public service in teaching, military service as well as standing for office.
Linda graduated from OU in 1979 with a Bachelor in Accounting. Linda’s professional career has covered a variety of industries such as manufacturing, service industries, and oil & gas. Early in 2000, Linda saw a need for IT and software support that understood business operations beyond simple structure. With that in mind, she returned to school and obtained a Masters in Information Systems. She has worked with many businesses across Oklahoma to increase profitability and functionality of their business systems.
